At left are examples of some of the acrylic components and enameled brass bells that may be included in SteedBeads.
SteedBeads Mane Dangles are beautiful strands of beads equipped with an alligator clip to fasten to your horse’s mane so the beads will stay in place. A Mane Dangle is typically positioned far enough back from the horse's ears so it will not hit the horse in the face or eyes. Each SteedBead Mane Dangle terminates in a bell, typically the same type of bell used in coordinating SteedBeads and/or Saddle Dangles. Other bell postions/combinations may be custom ordered. Mane Dangles are usually 10 inches long, but longer or shorter lengths are available upon request. Mane Dangles may be used alone or in multiple quantities for even greater beadazzlement of your steed.
SteedBeads Saddle Dangles are typically purchased in pairs, one for each side of the saddle, to add bling and jingle to your ride. They are often coordinated in color and design to match a set of SteedBeads and/or Mane Dangles. Each Saddle Dangle has two strands of beads, each terminating in a bell. Saddle Bow Dangles are constructed to resemble a bow tie; they cost slightly more, due to the extra labor and materials. In both types of Saddle Dangles, the bead strands are suspended from an integral clip that may be used alone or in combination with the 24mm round gold- or nickel-plated steel split ring provided to attach the Saddle Dangle to your saddle. The clip may be attached to either the split ring or a D-ring. The split ring may be attached to your saddle by tying it to a saddle strap, fastening it to a buckle, or using any other method you choose. Saddle Dangles are usually 5" in length, not counting the clip and ring, which add another 2 inches. Longer or shorter lengths may be custom ordered.
Custom Orders: To request custom designed SteedBeads, also called rhythm beads, either purchase a custom set or a gift certificate for a custom set of SteedBeads, a custom Mane Dangle, and/or custom Saddle Dangles. Then email the artist: Kristi@KristiLynGlass.com to describe what you have in mind. If you need a custom size or your would like a particular color combination or pendant or bell type (or no bells) on your purchases, please describe your preferences via email. Currently, rhythm bead components are metal and plastic to allow easy cleaning, reasonable pricing, and maximum safety for the rhythm beads and your horse. Glass and/or semi-precious stone beads are available by special order, and such SteedBead orders will be priced individually, based on the components used. You will be sent an invoice via PayPal for any pre-negotiated additional cost for special orders. A wide variety of rhythm bead pendants, bells, and bead colors/types are available, so let your imagination soar to craft the perfect SteedBeads component choices for your horse.
