This encaustic original shows a caped couple meeting for a tryst on a mountain ridge. The piece was created using glittery and metallic silver wax, so it is absolutely dazzling in bright sunlight. The surface has been coated to retard fading from UV rays. It is framed in a black wood frame with a white mat. The artwork itself is approximately 8.25" x 5.875". This piece is currently on display at the Northeastern Nevada Museum in Elko, NV. The exhibit runs through May 3, 2011. The piece will be available for shipment after that date. The watermark shown on the product photo does not appear on the artwork.
