The individual puzzle pieces of this striking multi-media horse have been coated with transparent plastic containing rainbow colored iridescent inclusions. The pieces are glued to the outside of the frame's glass for a three dimensional effect. A black bordered mat is behind the glass of the black wood frame. The piece is absolutely dazzling in bright sunlight. The horse itself is approximately 9" x 15.75". This piece is currently on display at the Northeastern Nevada Museum in Elko, NV. The exhibit runs through May 3, 2011. The piece will be available for shipment after that date. The watermark shown on the product photo does not appear on the artwork.
