This watercolor original was created to llustrate the title poem for Thelma M. Homer's 2008 book, A Horse Called Poetry. The poem is scribed onto the body of the horse. The scene further depicts elements described in the poem. The 14" x 18" watercolor has a white mat under plexiglass in a 22" x 26" x .75" unfinished oak frame.
